that Sgt Major Richardson was being 'too hard' 	and 'deliberately
cruel' when instructing Cadet Kiera Fharis, and interfered in a
training bout.  Although Sgt Major 	Richardson was not injured, he
was physically manhandled and assaulted by Cadet St Clair.  Given 1
week Academic suspension and assigned to SFMC advanced hand-to-hand
combat classes, in an effort to teach him what 'too hard' and
'deliberately cruel' mean.   (Note: Sgt Major Richardson admitted to
frustration concerning Cadet Fharis and admitted he might have been
'a little rough' with her)

Alric St Clair is a very quiet, unassuming individual who prefers to
listen first, ask questions later, and shoot last.  He has an
impressive level of control over his emotions and reactions, mostly
from his life-long study of philosophy, martial arts and Vulcan
mysticism.  Introspective by nature, he is sometimes given to bouts
of brooding and/or depression, but he is well able to hide these and
prevent them from interfering with his duty.
St Clair is very accepting of the trials the universe throws his
way, and  has long since come to terms with his mixed heritage and
lack of parents.  He is disturbed and discomfited by the nature of
his relationship with his sister at a young age and still struggles
with questions concerning her fate.
COMMENTS AND EVALUATIONS
"Innately a quiet, thoughtful person, Alric was never able to form
lasting friendships with his peer groups at the Academy, but found
those same lasting friendships in the chaplains and older students at
the Academy.  Later, he served as a mentor for many of the younger
students who found themselves outside their social groups, and helped
them become acclimated and adjusted to the Academy environment.
His reclusive nature is actually psychologically healthy for him; it
comes from his Vulcan heritage, whereas his desire for intimate,
lasting relationships comes from his Deltan.  Both are tempered by
his human blood, allowing him to function as an individual.
His achilles heel is his twin sister; he has not seen her since
before he left for Visala University; she disappeared along with the
followers of the Way of the Inner Voice.  He has been sorely tempted
to use Starfleet resources to track her down, but has not, allowing
her what he feels is her free choice.  However, her absence,
especially after their initial closeness, has left a gaping emotional
wound in him that is yet to heal."

Alric St Clair has been a student of martial arts and various
esoteric philosophies and religions for the majority of his life and
sometimes has deferred to alternative treatment options such as
acupressure, acupuncture, herbal and holistic therapies.
MEDICAL DATA: GENETIC HYBRID
Through exhaustive study of Alric's DNA, doctors have been able to
determine Alric comes from Fabrini (near-human), Eridani (human),
Deltan and Vulcan DNA.  Vulcan is the predominate genotype,
accounting for close to seventy-five percent of Alric's genetic
makeup, allowing for the copper-based blood and the 'unique'
arrangement of internal organs.  The human factors in his genetic
makeup cause a greater adaptability to hostile climates and a much
more versatile auto-immune system while acting as the cohesive agent
for the other two genotypes.  The Deltan factors in his blood account
as the catalyzing element for his psionic abilities as well as his
calm nature.
He possesses a Vulcan's strength, speed and stamina, a Deltan's
agility and flexibility, but a human's adaptability.
MEDICAL DATA: PSIONICS
Alric St Clair, by virtue of his genetic heritage, possess several
minor psionic abilities.  He is in complete control of these
abilities, and they never been a hindrance to him.
PSIONICS SUMMARY
TOUCH TELEPATHY: Like his Vulcan cousins, Alric possesses a degree
of touch telepathy.  Via physical contact, Alric can initiate or

BIOGRAPHICAL RECORD

00-11 (2342 - 2353)
Born to unknown parents on Visalayan (the Medusan home world), Alric
and his sister were taken from Visalayan to New Fabrini by someone -
no one ever found out who, though the theory is merchants of some
kind traveling from Visalayan to New Fabrini.  They were delivered to
the Cathedral of St Clair in Nadira Urbis, a major spaceport city. 
The minor religious order running the Cathedral kept the names of
those who had delivered them off the record at their request.
The Cathedral was a struggling interspecies orphanage that catered
to the children of spacers and other interstellar travelers who found
children inconvenient, but were finding themselves further and
furhter in debt every year.
When Alric and Jasiana were three, the St Clair Cathedral, in deep
financial trouble, was taken over by a radical splinter group of
Fabrini and Humans belonging to a cult following the 'Way of the
Inner Voice.'  They were raised as children of that faith, and
schooled as such.  
At that time, the Federation was unaware that the Sisters of the
Inner Voice were anything more than a small religious movement.  They
applied, and received, accreditation for St Clair's Cathedral as a
private school.  Soon thereafter, the school, Cathedral, and cult
expanded at an exponential rate.  Alric and Jasiana began showing
signs of perfect recall and high intelligence, learning more like
Vulcan children than Fabrini.
The Sisters of the Inner Voice invited members of other religious
orders to come and visit their Cathedral, and many did, including
Human, Vulcan, Deltan, Andorian and Klingon orders.  The twins
quickly became pets of the Cathedral, spending time with almost all
of the orders present.  (The Klingons really had no time or patience
for small children underfoot).  Alric spent more time with the
Vulcans and the Andorians, while his sister spent the bulk of her
time with the Deltans.
The St Clair Cathedral was rapidly becoming a center for
interstellar interfaith dialogue - there was even talk of opening a
university.
Both of the twins began training in martial arts (which were
integral to several of the faiths represented), as the Sisters felt
their physical development should mirror their mental and spiritual
development.
In 2348, they were adopted by Theresa Caliqhuiry, one of the higher-
ranking Sisters - though it was unknown to the twins and many of the
visiting orders at the time, the adoption was illegal.
12-16 (2354 - 2358)
After their 12th birthdays, Alric and Jasiana were initiated into
the Mysteries of the Inner Voice in a private ceremony that Alric
still won't speak much of, even many years later.  Their behavior
radically changed after this ceremony.  Jasiana became far too
interested in the sexual aspects of Deltan life, and Alric became
almost a mute, only speaking to his sister and occasionally his
adopted mother.
Seeing the change in the twins, members of the other religious
orders became worried and requested Fabrini authorities investigate
the Sisters of the Inner Voice.  The Deltan and Vulcan orders,
feeling some responsibility to the twins because of their genetic
heritage, worked to mitigate what they saw as growing aberrations in
the twins behavior.  Under the guise of teaching the twins to control
their growing psionic abilities, they spent more and more time with
them.
The twins were rarely seen outside of each other's company, except
during individual instruction.  While Alric continued his martial
arts training, learning from anyone and everyone he could, Jasiana
focused on her training with the Sisters of the Inner Voice.
Other Fabrini religious orders were beginning to be worried about
what took place behind closed doors; the followers of the Sisters of
the Inner Voice were growing stranger and stranger with each passing
year as their faith grew and the doctrines changed under Theresa
Caliqhuiry's leadership, though the Fabrini authorities couldn't find
any proof of impropriety.
Alric, drifting away from the teachings of the Sisters, began
accompanying the Vulcan priests on longer and longer sabbaticals and
treks through the wilderness.  He accompanied the Klingons on ritual
hunts and the Andorians in ritual combat, and started showing signs
of what some of the Human priests called 'wanderlust.'  He continued
his studies, which were becoming focused more and more on the
universe outside of Fabrini.  Alric was becoming more and more aware
that he didn't feel at home at the Cathedral, and except for his
sister, wasn't very close to anyone.
The twins were still sharing a room - and were sometimes found
sleeping in each other's beds.  The Sisters encouraged this, and the
Deltans considered it normal behavior for Deltan children, but the
Fabrini and the Vulcans worried.  
16-23 (2358 - 2365)
Alric was accepted to the New Fabrini Institute's seven-year program
for gifted students, though he continued to live and train at the
Cathedral.  Jasiana was well on her way to becoming a priestess of
the Way of the Inner Voice, though she was years off from becoming a
sister.  Theresa's influence on Alric was waning while Jasiana was
focused on her spiritual growth.
Alric joined the Interstellar Fighting Arts Association and began
competing in tournaments on Fabrini and continued his training with
his teachers at the Cathedral, though the majority of his education
was now taking place on the New Fabrini Institute's campus.  This
exposure to the world outside the Cathedral was a shock to him at
first, but he soon was making friends and was starting to wonder at
the life the Sisters were encouraging him to live.
Theresa Caliqhuiry was torn; though she wanted Alric as a member of
her faith, it seemed she had some maternal feelings towards the
twins, and was willing to let Alric set his own path - within limits.
She strongly opposed his spending the last two years of his education
studying abroad, but as he was of age, she couldn't stop him.
Alric spent two years abroad, visiting schools on Delta IV, Betazed,
Alpha Areitis IV (Hamal), and Visalayan (Medusan home world).  Seeing
the world he was born on and meeting the Medusans convinced Alric
that the way he grown up was limited - and somehow wrong.  On Delta,
learned that the kind of closeness he had with his sister was normal
for Deltans, sparking  a desire to visit Vulcan.
23-28 (2365 - 2371)
He graduated from the New Fabrini Institute with Honors, and applied
to an off world school for his graduate-level work.  Visala
University, part of the multi-species enclave on Visalayan, was a
school recognized for its inter-species studies and strong focus on
philosophy and traditional academics.  Alric majored in philosophy
and psychology, but wasn't sure what he wanted to do after
graduation.  During his time with the Medusans, Alric's psionic
abilities first began to manifest - confused at first, Alric sought
guidance from the Betazoid counselor assigned to the Starfleet
personnel on Visalayan and was able to learn control.
He continued his martial arts training and competitions, traveling
to Andor to compete in the IFAA's Federation-wide tournament three
times.  He placed second in 2370.
He returned to New Fabrini with a masters in Psychology and a
Doctorate in Philosophy only to discover the Way of the Inner Voice
gone.  No one at the Cathedral knew why they had left, nor where they
had gone.  Only that they had packed up and left one night.  There
were suspicions that the Sisters had been involved with everything
from drug smuggling to slavery or criminal prostitution, but there
was no proof of anything.
Alric was even more confused than the other members of the
Cathedral.  He had been exchanging regular letters with his twin
sister, who had said nothing about criminal activities or vanishing.  
Alric was both lost and hurt.  He had no idea what he wanted to do
with his life or even what he could do.  He didn't want to teach, and
was afflicted with a larger than normal case of wanderlust.  He spent
about six months at the Cathedral, training and meditating before one
of the human priests from a sect called Foundationism gave him a
recommendation.  Go Walkabout, and keep walking until he found himself.
Taking only what he could carry, Alric booked passage on a ship
heading out-system.
28-31 (2371 - 2373)
Alric's walkabout took three years, most of it spent on various
merchant ships or patrol ships.  He visited places both inside and
outside of the Federation and continued his martial arts training. 
Alric hasn't talked much about this time of his life, referring to it
as a 'blur of planets and places and ships,' though he does admit to
that period of his life helped him connect to his Fabrini heritage. 
Many Fabrini thought of themselves as sailors of the stars, a
heritage brought on by their long trek on the worldship YONADA.  
Much of Alric's reticence to discuss this time of his life may have
had to do with possible involvement in the Dominion War.
By 2373 there were a large number of Fabrini in Starfleet or working
as merchant spacers.  To Alric's surprise, his walkabout ended on
Vulcan, in the Great Desert Forge, where he sought instruction at
Seleya.
31-36 (2373 - 2378)
Alric studied at the Vulcan monastery of Seleya for five years,
learning about his Vulcan heritage and finally coming to some peace
with his sister's disappearance.  He mastered what few psionic
abilities he had (which were very minor in comparison to many of the
students at Seleya) and became very attached to the Vulcan
philosophies of IDIC (Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations)
and service.  His wanderlust re-asserted itself, and on the
suggestion of one his teachers, a Vulcan named Sohte, Alric applied
to Starfleet Academy.
36-40 (2378 - 2382)
Despite his age, Alric was physically in his late teens to early
twenties (Human equivalent) when he attended Starfleet Academy. 
Being an older student presented its own difficulties, though he was
by no means the oldest student in his class, nor was he the only one
with significant life experience.  His time at Starfleet Academy are
four years he considers among the best of his life.  He found himself
playing 'big brother' to many of his fellow students, and he was able
to finally put his extensive education to use - and he discovered how
much he had left to learn.  Alric renewed his membership in the IFAA
and became a member of Starfleet Academy's martial arts team, and
took the opportunity to learn as much as he could from the teachers
there, once again made aware of how much he didn't know.  
40-42 (2382 - 2384)
The Federation was rebuilding from the Dominion War and wanted as
many officers as they could get as fast as they could get them, and
Alric's degree of education had him moving through Starfleet Medical
in two years instead of four.  This was a period of intense study for
Alric, and also saw him placing first in the IFAA Federation
Invitational which included fighters from Quo'nos, Cardassia, and
Romulus.  
42-46 (2384 - 2388)
Alric was assigned Counselor to the USS MERRIMAC NCC 1715-E, a
CAESAR AGUSTUS-class Heavy Cruiser in GREEN FLEET on patrol in an
area heavy with Orion pirates.  The MERRIMAC was able to engage the
pirates over a dozen times, though a massed sneak attack left the
ship heavily damaged and boarded by Orion pirates.  Alric ended up
helping repel boarders and work triage.  His second year aboard the
MERRIMAC, he and LT(jg) Kiera Fharis (with whom he had had attended
Starfleet Academy) were sent via runabout to talk to survivors of a
pirate raid on a shipping convoy.  On their way back to the MERRIMAC,
the runabout was attacked by Orion pirates.  Alric and Kiera were
taken prisoner and sold as slaves to the Orion Syndicate.  
They were declared dead a month later when no trace of them or the
runabout was found.  
Alric and Kiera spent over a year as Orion slaves before being
bought by a group of rather unsavory Ferengi who operated very close
to the Federation border.  Starfleet was cracking down on smuggling
in that area, and a task force lead by the MERRIMAC detained a
Ferengi convoy.  Alric and Kiera were discovered and rescued.  The
Ferengi could not be prosecuted because slavery is legal in the
Ferengi Alliance, and the two were purchased outside of Federation
territory.  
Their ship was impounded, as was their cargo.
Alric spend six months on psychological leave of absence before it
was decided he could no longer function as a Counselor.  He was sent
back to the Starfleet Space Warfare Officer's school.  He graduated
in the standard six months and was re-assigned as the security chief
of the Starfleet base on Pacifica as a full Lieutenant.
46-47 (2388-2390)
Alric's time on Pacifica was a healing experience.  He spent more
time underwater than on land (as about half the base is underwater)
and because of a local terrorist cell, Alric provided security for a
variety of scientific missions into the depths of Pacifica's ocean.  
Kiera Fharis was also assigned to Pacifica, and ended up getting
involved with a cult (in fact, many of the young ratings and attaches
of the Starfleet facility there had joined).  Supposedly lead by a
Risian priestess, the Cult centered around discovery of self through
sex and drugs -- the Vishindu, as they were called, were also
becoming a very powerful political force on Pacifica.
Alric infiltrated the Vishindu by pretending to be a recent convert;
he is able to reveal that the cult was nothing more than a front for
the Orion Syndicate to smuggle drugs and other contraband into the
heart of the Federation -- even if he did get himself captured.  
47-48 (2390 - 2391)
Because of his work dealing with the Vishindu and his experience on
a primarily aquatic world, Alric was transferred to the world of
Akkalla.  Akkalla is 98% water and home to two native sentient
species.  The Akkallans have two stages of life - the first is
humanoid and land-based.  At about the age of forty, they undergo
senescence and become an ocean-dwelling aquatic humanoid known as
Wwafida.  The second species is a cetacean called Triteera, similar
to terrestrial whales.  A religious extremist were attempting to kill
off the Wwafida and encouraging Akkallans to remove their dygnt
gland, which causes senescence to occur.  Alric was assigned as
security for the Federation mediation team.
The mediation team was successful in ceasing hostilities and
beginning negotiations between the factions of Akkalla's population,
though it took close to year.
48-58 (2391 - 2401)
Promoted to Lieutenant Commander, Alric was assigned to assist SECIS
by infiltrating the Orion Syndicate.  His cover story was simple:
cashiered from Starfleet for 'practices unbecoming an officer', Alric
posed as a 'tracer' - a person who locates hard-to-find merchandise,
acts as private investigator, and who acts as a go-between during
difficult and sometimes shady business dealings.  Much of his
dealings with SECIS are classified, though he picked up a variety of
esoteric skills and scars.  After helping break a major slavery ring
in 2400 - after once again being captured himself when his cover was
broken - Alric spent nearly a year on psychiatric and medical leave,
much of it spent on Vulcan and Pacifica.  Although Alric has stated
that sometime during this tour of duty he once again encountered his
sister, has had stated the reunion was personal and did not involve
Starfleet.
58-66 (2401- 2408)
Alric returned to duty at the rank of full Commander and the
security chief of Starbase ZETA, where he continued with his martial
arts training and cross-trained starship construction.  He continued
to fight in the IFAA, placing first in the Federation Invitational in
2405 and winning the Federation Championship in 2407.  His tour on
Starbase ZETA was marked by an all-time low crime rate and the
discovery of several black-market operations.  Most notably, Alric
was in charge of security for the construction of the first ZEUS-
class battlecruisers.  
Upon the completion of the USS ZEUS NCC 7500, Alric was offered the
position of Chief of Operations, which he accepted.  
66 - 70 (2408 - 2412)
Alric served as Operations Officer of the USS ZEUS for four years. 
The USS ZEUS was a troubleshooter, sent in as either a deterrent or a
fast-response to hostilities all over the Federation.  Ostensibly
assigned to GREEN-fleet, the USS ZEUS saw more than its fair share of
combat all over the Federation during that fours years, including
battles against the Dominion during the Battle of Bellatrix and
against the Klingons in the Second Klingon-Federation war.  
70 - 76 (2412 - 2418)
Promoted from the Operations officer aboard the USS ZEUS, Alric was
made XO of the USS NIKE NCC-7502 late in 2412.  Alric served with
distinction aboard NIKE for six years, patrolling the BLUE fleet
cordon around Bellatrix.  Offered the opportunity to attend a martial
arts tournament on Andor, Alric took his accumulated leave all at
once.  
76 - present (2418 - 2419)
The tournament, held by Andor once every decade, was invitation
only.  Alric fought in the tournament - unlike most tournament he
fought in, their was either win or lose.  Although Alric made it far
into the tournaments, he lost.  He spent a few weeks recovering, and
then training with some of the martial arts masters on Andor.
When he returned to active duty, the new CINCBLUE, Admiral John R
Brooks, offered Alric a promotion to Captain and command of the USS
YORKTOWN NCC-1717-F.
